Halton Healthy Early Years Status (HHEYS)Supporting health and wellbeing of children and families
Early Years settings play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children and families. The Halton Health Improvement Team and its partners want to acknowledge the work our early years settings do.
The Halton Healthy Early years award (HHEYS) is available to all Early Years settings who would like all their valuable work acknowledged.
The HHEYS self assessment audit tool is designed to help your setting achieve the Halton Health Early Years Award. It will support you to develop and review your health and wellbeing improvements for your setting.
If your early years setting would like to find out more about how to achieve the HHEYS award, please contact our team on 0300 029 0029 for more information and details of how to complete the audit tool.
Our team can also offer settings a variety of health information and support to improve the health for our local children and their families.
This support includes free resources, signposting materials and training for staff. Again, for more information, please contact us.
